Drawing on cream paper, 9 1/8 x 7 1/2 in (23.2 x 18.8 cm) This is thought to be a study sketch or a post-painting record sketch of two Marie Antoinette portraits of the same format (Art Page 12 and Art Page 202). It is hard to comfirm that Vigée Le Brun actually made this sketch.
