	Franziska Biron - 1810 oil on canvas, 82.2 x 66 cm Franziska (Fanny) Princess Biron of Curland née Countess of Maltzahn. Born 23.09.1790, died 25.03.1849. Married (08.09.1806) to Gustav Prince Calixt Biron of Curland (1780 - 1821). It was originally located in castle Gross-Wartenberg in Low-Silesia, now Poland. The castle was destroyed at the end of 2nd World War. The portrait is now in National Museum Wroclaw, Polend. It was bought in 1975. Signed on left on back of chair: Mme Lebrun 1810. The sitter is wearing a red dress, while the armchair is green.Jana Talkenburg identified the sitter. View another image of this portrait.
	Duchess de la Rouchefoucauld - 1789 oil on canvas, 120 x 95 cm, oval Alexandrine Charlotte Sophie de Rohan Chabot, Duchesse de La Rochefoucauld (and later Marquise de Castellane). Lived 1763-1839. Another painting of "Mme de Castellane," oil on canvas, attributed to VLB, was at the Musee Fragonard, Grasse. sold by Sothebys on 6 Dec. 1987. Referenced as "1 The Duchess de la Rochefoucauld" in the 1789 section of Vigee le Brun's master listing.
