	Comte Jules de Polignac - 1788 oil on canvas, 40 x 32-1/2 in The sitter was Auguste Jules Armand Marie (1780-1847), second son of the duc and duchesse de Polignac, who became comte in 1817, and in 1820 was made prince by Pope Pius VII. He served as prime minister of Charles X.
	A Woman - 1831 oil on canvas, 80x65cm Hermitage, St. Petersburgh Purchased in 1936 by the State Purchasing Committee. One reference suggests this may be Lèontin de Rivière, the daughter of Vigee Le Brun's niece, Caroline Rivière.
