Dear Kevin, Thanks for responding to my email. I enclosed a couple of photos of a portrait of a lady that I have looked at all of my life - over 50 years. I have always wondered who she was. It was found in Newark, N.J. by my grandmother who lived in a Polish, Russian, Jewish immigrant neighborhood. Is there any chance it might be one of Vigee Le Brun?

I live between NYC and Phila. and would be glad to travel to have this painting verified. Thanks for your help.

Dear Team, the photos are not the best but it is obviously a beautiful painting . It is definately a painting of Vigee Le Brun. I don't know if it is by her but the quality seems to be high. It seems to be an old painting and at least a very good copy. Please email Lois with any information you might offer and info me.
